So while I go on and on about how great it is to be healthy and eat clean and blah, blah, blah… what I really want to talk about it how to make and eat desserts without feeling guilty about it (or at least a little less guilty about it). Baking is something that I do on a regular basis. It keeps me calm in the chaos that is my life and it makes me feel good to make other people happy with sugary-treats. Now that I’m exploring healthier sweet-treat options, those people are even happier to help me taste-test my experiments since their waistlines aren’t impacted as much. My conclusion? Desserts make me happy. And healthy desserts (that don’t actually taste healthy) make the entire world happy.
